Woody Battle (v2.0.0) Major Update Announcement

Dear Woody fans & friends,

With the aim of giving you the most fun and fair playing experience possible, a brand new version of Woody Battle (v2.0.0) will be available from *05/28/2019 06:30PM PST*.

This is a required update and it’s impossible for you to play the current version (v1.1.6) during the upgrade starting from *05/28/2019 05:30PM PST* to *05/28/2019 06:30PM PST*.

We've been working hard to improve your game with new features and big improvements.

We redesigned all the UI elements to better optimize the game size and make it more beautiful and easier for you to interact with.

As per request of thousands of players, we’re extremely excited to announce a brand new Woody Battle currency, Coins! After updating to v2.0.0, the system will automatically exchange your “Lives” to “Coins” based on your ranking.This is how it works: Coins = Your current number of *Lives" x required Entry Fee value of your rank tier

WHAT ARE COINS?

 

 

 

Coins are the main currency in Woody Battle v2.0.0 and they are needed to enter any match.

HOW DO I EARN MORE COINS?

The best way to earn more Coins is by winning matches.
Every time you enter a match, you will pay an entry fee. Win the match and you will win your stake back as well as your opponents! You will also receive free coins every day.

WHAT ARE TROPHIES?

Woody Battle uses trophies to define your Rank Tier and match you with suitable opponents.

You can earn more trophies by successfully beating opponents in any 1vs1 match (except "Play with friends" mode).

HOW DOES MATCHMAKING WORK IN WOODY BATTLE V2.0.0?

In current version (v1.1.6), Woody Battle's matchmaking system works by attempting to find you an opponent with a same Rank Tier as quickly as possible.

In new version (v2.0.0), you'll be able to choose yourself an opponent not only with the same Rank Tier as yours but also an opponent at both the Previous Rank or the Next Rank as well. And we hope that this feature will make the game more exciting and challenging for you.

 

For example: Your current Rank Tier is Rookie. So, you can choose to play against an opponent at Novice or Amateur.

 

More than that, if you want something more competitive, there is always an Open Tour available for you. This means there is no limit anymore and you'll have a chance to find and compete with opponents of all Rank Tiers randomly.

HOW DOES "PLAY WITH FRIENDS" WORK IN WOODY BATTLE V2.0.0?

Being supported by Google Play Service, you can challenge a specific opponent you want at anytime.
Every time you enter a match, you will pay an entry fee. Win the match and you will win your stake back as well as your opponents!

 

*Important Notice:
Before you invite a friend to play, please make sure both of you:
1. Installed “Play Games” app on Play Store
2. Created a “Gamer ID”
3. Installed the latest version of Woody Battle
4. Had strong internet connection

 

To play with friends, you can:

Option 1: Search your friend's GAMER ID (you only have to do it ONCE).

Help! I can't update the Woody Battle v2.0.0!
If you are having problems downloading the latest update through Google Play, please follow the advice below.

Make sure that your device is connected to a strong Wi-Fi or mobile data connection. Please note that your device may be set to only install apps when connected to a Wi-Fi connection.
Try switching to a different internet connection
If your download is stuck in the "Pending" state, please follow these steps:

  1. Open Play Store app.

  2. Swipe-in from the right edge of the screen, and select My apps & games.

  3. Here you'll see all apps that are currently downloading on your phone. To cancel an app from downloading, select it and touch the X (cross icon) near the download progress bar to cancel download for the app.

Help! All my trophies are gone! I want my rank back.

If you are having problems with your game progress, please send us a screenshot of your Profile screen to support@athena.studio or message us at Facebook Fanpage at www.fb.com/woodypuzzle

Please try to include as much information as possible when contacting our support team, including a description of what happened before you noticed the issue.

Help! I received a connection error all the time.

The "No Connection" notice will appear when our servers try to contact your device, but receive no response. This can happen if:

  1. Your device has lost connection. If your internet connection drops for 2 seconds, then your device will lose connection to our servers.

  2. You have left the Woody Battle app. Leaving the Woody Battle app or switching apps at any point during your match will cause you to lose connection.

Woody Battle requires a strong and stable internet connection as it is an 100% online game.

It is important to remember that although your network speed may be fast, there are instances where the internet connection might have slight fluctuations, even if your device shows full Wi-fi or mobile data bars.

Following the advice below should help to ensure that your time out on the battlefield remains uninterrupted:

  1. Make sure that your device is connected to a strong and stable Wi-Fi or 3G/4G connection from a good service provider.

  2. Make sure that you are not leaving the app or switching apps at any point during the match, even when it is not your turn to play.

 

Help! Woody Battle keeps crashing!

If you are unable to access Woody Battle then please follow the steps below:

  1. Check that you have the latest version of OS installed on your device.

  2. Check that your device has enough free storage space. You can free up space by removing unnecessary apps, for instance.

  3. Free up device memory by closing apps that are running in the background.

  4. Turn your device off and then on again, and then try loading Woody Battle again.

If this issue does continue, please contact our support team directly and they will be happy to assist you further. Please try to include as much information as possible when contacting our support team, including:

  • A description of what happened before your game crashed. Did you notice any disconnections or other issues that may have caused your game to crash?

  • Videos of the crash that you experienced.

  • Screenshot of your Profile screen.

 

Help! My matches keep freezing.

If the Woody Battle does freeze during your match, please fully close and reopen the Woody Battle app as soon as you notice that the game has become unresponsive.

This should resolve this issue for you and make sure that you can keep swinging!

To help prevent this issue from occurring, please follow the steps below:

  1. Turn off any apps or games that running in the background whilst playing Woody Battle.

  2. Ensure that you have the latest version of Woody Battle from the Store.

  3. Make sure that you're not leaving, closing or switching apps at any point during your Woody Battle match.

If this issue does continue, please contact our support team directly and they will be happy to assist you further. Please try to include as much information as possible when contacting our support team, including:

  • A description of what happened before your game froze. Did you notice any disconnections or other issues that may have caused your game to freeze?

  • Screenshots or videos of the freeze that you experienced.

  • The name of your opponent and the name of Rank Tier that you were playing.

 

Help! I did not receive my purchased items.

Due to low and unstable internet connection in some cases, please expect a little delay for your transaction to proceed.

If you have made a purchase, then don't worry as your payment may still being processed. In the meantime, please try restarting the Woody Battle app.

If you have still not received your items after 2 - 3 hours, please contact Google Play Store support directly and they will be able to assist you further.

We're unable to offer support for purchases made on Android devices, as all purchases made on this platform are handled directly by Google Play Store.
